Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA) seeks an experienced and qualified individual to fill the position of full-time Oil/Gas Burner Technician. Position requires master level work in the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of oil/gas burner systems and related equipment, as well as installing and servicing propane and natural gas appliances and indoor piping for the functioning of the 365 day, 24-hour operation of Maine’s toll express highway.
Minimum requirements: Considerable experience working in the trade as an Oil/Gas Burner Technician; must have a Master Oil Burners license to service up to 15 gallon per hour burners (#1 and #2 solid fuel). Must also have two Propane/Natural Gas licenses: Appliance Connection & Service Technician license and a Large Equipment Connection & Service Technician endorsement. Current Maine Class C Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
