The work consists of bridge repairs at two locations:
Route 122/Poland Spring Road Underpass - Auburn: The work consists of replacing the Route 122/Poland Spring Road bridge that carries traffic over the Maine Turnpike. The work also includes concrete deck and steel girder replacement, concrete substructure modifications and repairs, approach work and paving, guardrail and bridge rail work and maintenance of traffic.
During construction, the bridge will be closed to traffic and a
detour route will be signed. The bridge is scheduled to close to traffic on Monday, April 15 and will reopen in the fall (November).
Eagles Nest Road Southbound Overpass - Gray: The work includes steel repairs, installation of a new diaphragm, and miscellaneous superstructure repairs.
