Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA) is currently accepting applications to fill vacancies for Highway Maintenance III Drivers. Duties include operating snow removal equipment and various highway maintenance activities in a minimum 40-hour workweek. Positions require a current Commercial Driver’s License (A or B) with a clean driving record and physical stamina to work long hours. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Highway Maintenance III Job Description
Salary range is $27.60 to $35.51 per hour, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package includes:
- Normal work week: Four 10-hour days.
