Richard R. Barra
Mr. Barra began working for Maine Turnpike Authority on September 8, 1975 as a Temporary Toll Collector after graduating from Kennebunk High School. Rick became a Full Time Toll Collector assigned to Wells Toll on June 13, 1976. He was promoted to Senior Collector at West Falmouth toll on November 9, 1986, and then promoted to Toll Manager of the south end of the Turnpike on June 28, 1987. He was promoted to the Superintendent of Fares on May 30, 1993 and then promoted to his current position as the Director of Fare Collection on December 3, 2003.
